The number of rotator cuff repair procedures was calculated by accessing data from the SDO (Hospital Discharge Form, source: Ministry of Health) flow for accredited public and private facilities.
It should be noted that the greater the number of surgeries performed by a healthcare facility, the greater the experience of its staff.
The Find Facilities tool was designed to provide you with as much information as possible about the services available in accredited public and private hospitals. In the “Facility Details” section, you can check, for each facility found, the presence of “Blood Transfusion Center” services, “Resuscitation Service,” and the availability of “Highly Specialized Surgery” services such as “Neurosurgery, Spinal Surgery.” These services improve the timeliness of care in the event the patient requires blood and/or intensive care, thus avoiding the potential increase in critical situations related to the surgical procedures the patient has undergone.
